Using DynaDoc Server

1. Read the DynaDoc User's Manual.
2. Request an account and project workspace from VideoRay.
3. Set up an ftp client to access your project workspace.
• Host: ftp.rovschool.com
• Port: 21
• Use plain FTP (no TLS)
• Account: assigned accountName
• Password: assigned password
4. Document Preparation
1. You can use server or local based editing.
2. For server editing:
   1. Working in the "Edit a Document Source Set" section...
   2. Enter the Workspace Folder name.
   3. Enter the project Script name.
   4. Click on the "Edit" button.
   5. A list of the project's pages will be presented. Click on the page you want to edit.
3. For local editing:
   1. Sign in to the ftp account.
   2. If you are working on an existing project, download a copy of your project workspace to your local computer.
   3. Create or edit the script file.
   4. Create or edit .htm files in your local copy of the projectName/htm/ folder.
   5. Create or edit other supporting files (javascript, images, etc.).
   6. Upload the script, projectName/htm/ folder and any other folders / files (javascript, images, etc.).
5. Document Generation
   1. Working in the Generate a Document"" section...
   2. Enter the Workspace Folder name.
   3. Enter the project Script name.
   4. Click on the "Generate Document" button.
   5. Review the results for warnings and errors.
   6. At the bottom of the results, click on the "View Document" button or visit www.rovdoc.com/WrokspaceName/projectName/.
