Rear Dome Replacement Overview

Skill level recommended: Intermediate

Total time required: Approximately 23 Minutes

Tools required:

• O-Ring Lubricator
• 5/16 Inch Open End Wrench or Nut Driver
• 5/16 Inch Open End Wrench or Nut Driver (Additional)
• Torque Wrench
• Red Loctite or equivalent
• 7/16 Inch Open End or Socket Wrench
• #2 Phillips Head Screw Driver

The following components must be replaced:

• Rear Dome
• Dome Retaining Rings and Main Hull Rods
• Horizontal Thruster Nozzle Kit
• Horizontal Thruster Propeller Kit (Left and Right)
• Skid Kit
• Float Block Kit

Notes:

• Do NOT use solvents, including alcohol, to clean the dome. Doing so may cause the dome to haze or crack. Use mild soap and water to clean the dome.

• Before installing the rear dome, clean any finger prints or other marks and inspect it for scratches or cracks.

• Do NOT use a scratched or cracked dome, because it may fail under pressure.
